arg! I just removed all the favorite marks on my pictures because I cleaned out my message box! How can I clean my inbox without removing my stats on the pictures?

you have to select which individual messages to mark as "read" or "unread", rather than letting it select all. The only way to save updates is to keep them saved as "unread". For instance, I have 178 "unread" messages, so I can track who's commented on what, and what I've commented on.
Did my note get deleted too?

okay, I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about, but it's not as bad as I thought. I thought I had deleted all record of anyone marking my photos as favorites, but the numbers are back now, even thought I deleted the message record of those favorite-ings. Thanks! one more day of finals!
